Atebubu-Amantin Benefitting From $1m Per Constituency Initiative

The Minister for Special Development Initiatives Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson has said contrary to speculations, government is delivering on the $1million per constituency manifesto pledge.

The minister made the assertion when she addressed the second ordinary meeting of the Atebubu-Amantin municipal assembly in Atebubu.

She said under the initiative the constituency has been provided with 3 modern toilets fitted with solar panels, three boreholes and one warehouse.

The minister added that a number of electricity poles, 2000 dual desks and an additional warehouse has been earmarked for the constituency.

She disclosed that one ambulance will be made available to the constituency before the end of the year.

Taking the house through the modalities for the disbursement of funds under the initiative, Hon. Hawa Koomson urged them to identify the needs of their localities to which subsequent allocations could be applied.
