President JOY Writes: Jesus Christ, The Greatest Politician Ever
The Independent Presidential Candidate for 2012 and 2016 Elections, Mr. Jacob Osei Yeboah, aka JOY2012, has made a startling revelation on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, that Jesus Christ, is the Greatest Politician ever.
He made this categorical statement when giving an exposition on the topic, “The Bible and Politics”, at the Grace and Peace EP Church, Adentan. The program is part of a week long commemorating of the work of The Bible Society of Ghana, and was organised by the Adentan/Frafraha Local Council of Churches.
JOY explained Politics as “a process of influencing decision-making concerning things that affect the interests of human beings and their environment”.
Mr. Jacob Osei Yeboah, stated that God instituted politics by mandating and initiating Adam and giving him decisions to make for which he was accountable for. He then stated that “God is the Everlasting Politician” as He has never seized in making and influencing decisions of human affairs.
Since Jesus is part of the Trinity, it made Him equally a great politician and is exemplified by His manifesto in Luke 4:17-18, 20-21.
In contrasting Jesus with today’s politicians, JOY called them Politicasters. Politicasters are ill-suited politicians; most of the negatives from the Devil are seen in Politicasters. Just as the devil did in the garden of Eden, politicians who can boldly lie or mix facts with falsehoods are Politicasters and follows the devil’s pattern of deceitful mindset.
As politics permeates through every areas of mankind, In Ghana, we have most people as Politicasters in the family, Church, Work Places, Societies and the nation, who are influencing decisions negatively.
The current state of Ghana is like what Ezekiel 22:23-30 paints about Israel. Where the Prophets are like lions but the Politicasters are like wolves who are tearing the masses, amassing dishonest wealth, shedding blood and destroying people. The Priests also violate God’s law and they haven’t done a good job in showing people what is right and wrong. The people of the land have used oppressions, committed robbery, and mistreated the poor and needy. Any country in such a state is only an inch to self destruction.
JOY urged the congregation to see the 2020 elections as a new beginning for Christians to steer the destiny of Ghana on the path to peace and development. Christians should pray for God to select a man from those qualified to rule.
The bad governance coupled with unbridled and unashamed corruption make the NPP and NDC Political Parties unfit to rule, Mr. Jacob Osei Yeboah noted with emphasis.
The Bible encourages Christians to be politicians but Christians have not yet caught up with this revelation in the Bible. Christians are busy wanting to influence the spiritual realms though they are flesh and have the power to also influence flesh.
Using the books of Isaiah(Is 55:10-11) and John (Jn1:1,14), JOY demonstrated and concluded that ‘’reading the Bible is all about reading Jesus Christ’’. He therefore cautioned the congregation to give our Bibles the respect we give to our fellow human beings and with understanding that Jesus is the greatest Politician ever and every Christian should endeavor to emulate Jesus Christ.
